Driver Acquitted of Failing to Provide Details After Trial

Laura Newton represented a driver who faced 6 penalty points after being unable to respond to a Notice of Intended Prosecution. Our client had been asked to provide the details of the driver of a vehicle linked to his business but, for genuine reasons, was unable to do so and had explained this to the Police. He was summoned to Court and contested the prosecution at trial. Fortunately, we were able to properly prepare a detailed response, and the Court found him not guilty, saving his licence.
